The brioche stitch creates a lofty, bulky fabric that is also reversible. Learn how to use yarn overs in conjunction with slipped stitches to achieve the brioche stitch. We will also learn how to work brioche increases and decreases to create interesting patterns across our fabric.

Materials Please have the following materials and yarn balled before class begins:

• 2 high contrast colors of worsted weight yarn (don’t choose anything inky/very dark) about 75 yards of each
• one US 7 (4.5mm) 16” or 24” circular knitting needle
